Prison Boys

The title itself holds quite an attention and by looking at the picture, I was already attracted on what the game would provide.

A mobile game that I downloaded from GooglePlay, it didn't take me that long to get used to how the game works since their tutorial is straightforward and easy to understand. More so if you've played Pheonix Wright or Daganronpa before.

A mixture of a mystery novel and escape game, the story revolves around the time when Taisho era ended. World War One was over and the Soviet Union reigns. You'll be playing as Tetsu Akatsuki, the protagonist of this game and one of the witnesses to an incident in 12 Story Prison which is part of the Secret Police. With the help of his friend, Nagi, they decided to investigate further and the more they delved into the mystery behind the incident, the more questions were brought to light about the place they devote their life to, putting them the risk of being branded as a Rebel. What will they find? Was it worth the risk?

Characters

I actually enjoyed the game so far. The story plot is rather dark and (for some, maybe) heavy but I nonetheless think it was at a good pace. Even if it was aggravating to search for hidden clues due to my small phone screen, the puzzles are rather interesting to solve. It's recommendable for those who enjoy some mystery and puzzle solving and all the episodes are free.

Unless you can't wait for the tickets to replenish;;
